Located in the heart of central Alberta, our community centre is a place where residents come together to socialize, learn, and have fun. Our community has a rich history dating back to 1885 when it was founded by French-speaking settlers. The name Rivière Qui Barre, meaning “river that bars the way,” comes from the Cree name of the nearby river.
